<span style="font-family: "arial";">
<span style="font-family: "arial";">The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama’s plan". All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A… After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.
<span style="font-family: "arial";">
<span style="font-family: "arial";">The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was happy.
<span style="font-family: "arial";">
<span style="font-family: "arial";">When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F. The scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.
<span style="color: #00cccc; font-family: "arial";">Socialism Cancer of Liberty Always Fails! Obama will fail and like Jimmy Carter he will be a one term president. So who will be our next president? I'm praying it will be Sarah Palin. I almost didn't vote in the last election because I couldn't stand Barak Hussein Obama or John McCain, but when Sarah Palin entered the picture I voted for her and her only...the fact John McCain was on the same same ticket was something I had to live with and it wasn't him who I was voting for. It was my desire that the Republicans would win the election and eventually McCain would disappear from the scene one or another and Sarah would then become our president that of course never materialized but now there is once again a possibility that Sarah Palin can become the President of the United States of America. Will Sarah run in 2012? I believe she will, she won't say one way or the other which is a wise decision on her part, it is early yet and we will see what developed in 2011. Patricio Bridgeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11974231412132659060noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3547041602238760786.post-62581652688192710842010-01-10T04:27:00.000-08:002010-01-10T15:52:31.461-08:00More Churches Attacked by Malaysian MoslemsSunday 10 Jan. 2010: A Molotov cocktail was hurled at the All Saints Church in Taiping town in central Perak state early in the morning before it had opened, said state police chief Zulkifli Abdullah. He said that the building was not damaged but police found burn marks on the wall. A broken kerosene bottle with an unlit wick was found early Sunday inside the compound of the St. Louis Catholic church, also in Taiping, said the Rev. David Lourdes. He said it appeared to be a failed attack. In southern Malacca state, the outer wall of the Malacca Baptist Church was splashed with black paint, police said. Four other churches were hit by gasoline bombs on Friday and Saturday. All except the Metro Tabernacle, whose parishioners moved their services, suffered little damage, and no one was hurt. The other three held normal services Sunday.

The unprecedented attacks have set off a wave of disquiet among Malaysia's minority Christians and strained their ties with the majority Malay Moslems. The dispute is over a Dec. 31 High Court decision that overturned a government order banning non-Moslems from using the word "Allah" in their prayers and literature. The court was ruling on a petition by Malaysia's Roman Catholic Church, whose main publication, the Herald, uses the word "Allah" in its Malay-language edition. The government has appealed the verdict. About 9 percent of Malaysia's 28 million people are Christian, most of whom are ethnic Chinese or Indian. Moslems make 60 percent of the population and most of them are ethnic Malays. On Sunday, men, women and children from the Metro Tabernacle parish assembled in the cavernous, 1,800-seat meeting hall of the Malaysian Chinese Association party for the service. They lifted their hands and sang "We put all our faith in you," and "You are the God of love and peace" during the Sunday service." My wife was worried, but we want to be here to support the church," said Michael Chew, 40, who came to the service with two children, aged 1 and 6.

The service was in English, as are most Christian services in mainland Malaysia, though some are in Chinese and Tamil languages. Such services do not use the word "Allah." Only the Malay-language prayers for indigenous tribespeople in the remote states of Sabah and Sarawak use "Allah," as they have for decades.Rev. Hermen Shastri, general secretary of the Council of Churches of Malaysia, said Christians won't be intimidated by the attacks, describing them as the work of extremist minority among Moslems. "What is clear is that it is done by extremist groups. It does not reflect the majority Moslems in the country. We all have to stand together to stamp out terror perpetuated by these extremist groups," he said. The government contends that making Allah synonymous with God may confuse Moslems and ultimately mislead them into converting to Christianity.

Still, government leaders and many Moslems have condemned the firebombings, saying it is un-Islamic to attack places of worship. Prime Minister Najib Razak visited the Metro Tabernacle church late Saturday and announced a grant of 500,000 ringgit ($147,000) for rebuilding it at a new location, a major concession in a country where permission is rarely given for building new churches or temples. The Allah ban is unusual in the Moslem world. The Arabic word is commonly used by Christians to describe God in such countries as Egypt, Syria and Indonesia, the world's largest Moslem nation.

Personally I think any Christian church that uses the word Allah should replace that word with Jesus or Yahweh. After all we do not worship the same god as the Moslems, our God is an entirely different entity. I believe that Allah is a counterfeit god just as Mohammad was a false prophet and any Moslem who doesn't like my belief all I can say is "Live with it" just as I have to live with the Moslem's belief that Jesus is not the Son of God, never died on the cross, and never rose from the dead. I as a Christian do not go around foaming at the mouth in riotous anger burning down mosques and killing Moslems because I don't like their beliefs but then again Christians have something that Moslem never had and never will have.....Self Control!Patricio Bridgeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11974231412132659060noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3547041602238760786.post-35716535048446123152010-01-07T08:16:00.000-08:002010-01-07T08:24:36.347-08:00Moslem Christmas Massacre CAIRO – Three men in a car sprayed automatic gunfire into a crowd of churchgoers in southern Egypt as they left a midnight Mass for Coptic Christmas, killing at least seven people in a drive-by shooting, the church bishop and security officials said. The attack took place in the town of Nag Hamadi in Qena province, about 40 miles (64 kilometers) from the famous ancient ruins of Luxor. A local security official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media, confirmed that seven were dead and three seriously wounded.Bishop Kirollos of the Nag Hamadi Diocese told The Associated Press six male churchgoers and one security guard were killed.

He said he had left St. John's church just minutes before the attack. "A driving car swerved near me, so I took the back door. By the time I shook hands with someone at the gate, I heard the mayhem, lots of machine gun shots," he said in a telephone interview. He said he saw five bodies lying on the ground when he first looked at the site of the shooting, about 600 yards from where he was.The bishop said he was concerned about violence on the eve of Coptic Christmas, which falls on Thursday. He got a message on his mobile phone saying: "It is your turn." "I did nothing with it.

My faithful were also receiving threats in the streets, some Moslems shouting at them: 'We will not let you have festivities,'" he said. Because of the threats, he ended his Christmas Mass one hour early. He said Moslem residents of Nag Hamadi and neighboring villages rioted for five days in November and torched and damaged Christian properties in the area after the rape."For days, I had expected something to happen on Christmas day," he said. The bishop said police have now asked him to stay at home for fear of further violence.Qena is one of Egypt's poorest and most conservative areas.Christians, mostly Coptic, account for about 10 percent of Egypt's predominantly Moslem population.

As Islamic conservatism gains ground, Christians have increasingly complained about discrimination by the Moslem majority.Clashes by Moslems on Christians are not uncommon in southern Egypt and in recent years have begun seeping into the capital. An Amnesty International report said sectarian attacks on the Coptic Christian community, comprising between 6 million and 8 million people in Egypt, increased in the year 2008. Sporadic clashes between Coptic Christians and Moslems left eight people dead.

Vendetta killing is also common among southern Egyptians, and is usually over land or family disputes. The bishop said he had an idea of who the attackers were, calling them "Moslem radicals."...."It is all religious now. This is a religious war about how they can finish off the Christians in Egypt," he said.

And so it goes now as it has in the past. Moslems attack Christians and if the Christians dare defend themselves then they are branded as Crusaders. In radical Islam it's OK and even righteous to prey on Christians and yes, Jews too but any kind of retaliation is called aggression. In other words "We can murder you, rob you, rape you, beat you, humiliate you and if you do one damn thing about it then you are in the wrong". When the next Crusade comes just like the others it won't be us Christians who started it but since our war-machine is superior to their's it will be us who finish it...hopefully forever.Patricio Bridgeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11974231412132659060noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3547041602238760786.post-36861071002242217322009-12-22T08:50:00.000-08:002009-12-22T08:54:26.233-08:00How Socialism and Islam Work Together to Destroy EuropeYesterday I spoke to a local business owner, a man who was born in France, and came to the U.S. in the mid-70's. I haven't yet gotten his permission to identify him here, so I'll call him Curtis.

I asked him what was up with the riots in France. Why don't the French just expel those guys from the country?

I don't yet have corroboration for his statements. Take this as the verbal testimony of one man.

Curtis said that over 80% of the French population would like to expel the radical Islamists, but the government refuses to.

He said that government approval is required to build a house of worship - and that 20 mosques are approved for every 1 non-Moslem temple.

He said that in the airport (he may have been referring to the one that serves Paris), there is a mosque - but there is no non-Islamic house of worship.

He said that Moslems reproduce every 17 years, and that they have over four children for every 1.8 non-Moslem children. (I referred him to Mark Steyn's new book on this subject, America Alone: The End of the World as We Know It.)

He said that the Moslem population in France is constantly going to the government asking for help. The government - that is, the French taxpayer - gives them free housing.

I asked how the French can tolerate 100+ cars being burned every day all this year. He said police have no power to break up crowds of Moslems who come and "dance" threateningly in front of homes and businesses. The police are only able to act when they see a crime being committed in front of them. It's illegal to hold a teenager in jail for more than 2 days. If a citizen asks for a teenaged Moslem who is attacking his property to be arrested, in two days the same criminal will return to threaten or harm him again. Store owners are afraid to call the police when a crowd of Moslems "dance" (Curtis used the word repeatedly) threateningly in front of their business, because he knows the result will be that his business will be burnt. Such store owners often let the Moslems steal whatever they want.

Curtis said that with the huge difference in birthrates, France was doomed.

I said, I thought Socialism was responsible for the poor birthrate, because it literally makes life unrewarding - it takes away the rewards for living your life well and achieving things for yourself and those around you. Curtis responded with great interest to this suggestion.

He said that many French people live in small houses he compared to a U.S. trailer home. He said that for many Frenchmen, permits are required from the government if they want to move, and that such permits are so difficult to get that people often don't try. He said that visitors to France often see how good the social life is there, with friends often getting together - "I'll bring the bread, you bring the wine, you bring the cheese" - but that what visitors don't see is that government regulations strangle any attempts at work so much that beyond social life, there is nothing else. The social life is so good because nothing else is permitted.

And if all that wasn't enough, here's the real shocker.

He said that for 30 years, Moslems and non-Moslems worked side-by-side in French factories and businesses. Everyone thought the Moslems had assimilated. But when the Islamic riots started in France last year, these Moslems "flipped in a second" -- they immediately supported the riots. Their non-Moslem friends said to them, "We thought we knew you - this is wrong, what they are doing, burning cars and rioting." But the supposedly-assimilated Moslems supported the rioters.

I hate to say this but the French may have had more freedom had the Germans won World War II. I can't imagine living in a country where a person needed a permit to move, it's like that in communist Cuba also. When France was a Catholic country people had babies and there was no Moslem problem. The French have only themselves to blame....by abandoning Christianity and replacing it with politically correct secularism they have pretty much sealed their nation's fate. A country cannot survive long without religion so if France refuses to be a Christian country then it will surely become a Moslem country. C'est la vie.Patricio Bridgeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11974231412132659060noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3547041602238760786.post-62905551680407954302009-05-07T21:12:00.000-07:002009-05-08T08:04:16.509-07:00The Un-Fairness DoctrineI want to make one thing absolutely clear. The enemies of talk radio are firmly in control of the White House and Congress.

Sen. Chuck Schumer and his fellow Demon-crats are promising an all-out attack on talk radio even though President Obama has said that he has no intentions of reinstituting the Fairness Doctrine. Would the President lie? Will we hear him say sometime in the future "What I meant was, that I wouldn't reinstate the old Fairness Doctrine. I never said I wouldn't institute a NEW Fairness Doctrine" as he smiles into the cameras and his left-wing boot-lickers chuckle in the background.

With a new "Fairness Doctrine" backed by an Obama White House, political talk radio, as we know it, will be gone. If these "Forces of Darkness" win, Rush, Lewis, Hannity, Savage, Beck, and dozens of other major hosts will be muzzled by using federal regulations to control free speech. Here's what the problem is; every left-wing liberal talk show in this country has been a miserable failure because most red-blooded Americans don't want to hear their politically correct commie rhetoric. So the only way to get their propaganda out to the public is to piggy-back on the talk shows of the Right but guess what, that hound won't hunt.

Americans are very inventive and they'll find a way around that and internet radio just may be a way to do it since the FCC has no jurisdiction there. If the Socialists using the Federal government try to silence us on the internet then my friends it would be time for a revolution and I'm not speaking euphemistically either.

We're not going to sit by and allow our freedom of speech to be taken away. Once one freedom goes the rest will follow just like a stack of dominoes, we've seen it happen in Cuba, Venezuela and to a lesser extent in Mexico and Canada....we just won't let it happen here, not without a fight.Patricio Bridgeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11974231412132659060noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3547041602238760786.post-65340102262851263312009-05-07T14:04:00.000-07:002009-05-07T14:05:31.417-07:00Michael Savage Banned from BritainRight-wing radio talk show host Michael Savage has been banned in Britain. Savage said that he was shocked to learn the news that he was included in the British government's first-ever list of nearly two dozen people from across the globe who are banned from entering the nation for allegedly fostering extremism or hatred. First, it's pretty presumptuous of Britain to think that Michael or any other American would even want to visit their Jihadists and Leftists infested country to begin with.

Michael, who broadcasts from San Francisco on KNEW reaches between 8 to 10 million listeners on more than 350 stations nationwide, he has made news for calling the Quran, the Moslem holy book, a "book of hate." They took Michael off the local radio station hear in this part of North Carolina so I listen to him on-line at the KFAB website, thank goodness for the internet, right? It's still the world's greatest medium for free speech especially for the little guy.

For years now Britain has fallen deeper and deeper into the abyss of political correctness until it is just short of being a socialist dictatorship. She took away the guns of her law abiding citizens and now only the criminals are armed with home invasions continually on the rise. They said that gun confiscation would lower crime when in fact it has done the opposite. Now they say, and by "they" I mean the politically correct left-wing liberals who run Britain, that by squelching all criticism aimed at the politico-religious cult called Islam that the Moslems will calm down and become model citizens. Well that's a bunch of rubbish. The Moslems want total control of Britain and yes, the rest of Europe also.

Britain shouldn't be banning people like Michael Savage and Geert Wilders both of whom are nothing more than the voices of common reason. What I'd like to know is by what stretch of the imagination does Britain consider itself a free nation when they try to suppress opposing viewpoints yet at the same time allow foaming at the mouth Moslems to demonstrate in their streets screaming for the downfall of Britain and Europe with signs praising Hitler and calling for another holocaust. If this is British idea of freedom I for one want no part of it and I would rather visit a country that was a lot less hypocritical and I'm sure Michael Savage would agree with me.Patricio Bridgeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11974231412132659060noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3547041602238760786.post-7671426633063448122009-03-18T00:02:00.000-07:002009-03-18T00:26:25.764-07:00El Salvador Marks the Rise of Another Leftist in the AmericasEl Salvador’s Mauricio Funes, the latest leftist candidate to win election in Latin America, is calling for national reconciliation following a bruising campaign against ARENA a pro-U.S. conservative party that has governed the country for two decades.

Funes, who beat Rodrigo Avila of the business-backed ARENA party by a two-and-a-half point margin in Sunday’s election, was the standard-bearer for the Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front (FMLN).

A telegenic former television anchor, he was recruited to front the presidential campaign of the former Marxist guerilla group, which became a legal political party under a 1992 peace agreement ending a bloody 12-year civil war.

During the campaign, opponents charged that Funes, if successful, would follow orders from Cuba and damage El Salvador’s ties with the United States, where some two million Salvadoran expatriates live and work, sending home crucial foreign currency.

The jury is still out on whether Funes will model himself on Venezuela’s U.S.-baiting Hugo Chavez – as his opponents charged during the campaign – or on Brazil’s
Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, generally viewed a more pragmatic left-winger.

For his part, Funes has emphasized his close ties to and political affinity with Da Silva. Campaigning, he kept Chavez at arm’s length, while comparing his message of “change” to that of President Obama. Shortly after declaring victory he met with an official at the U.S. Embassy.

State Department spokesman Robert Wood on Monday congratulated the people of El Salvador for a “very free, fair, and democratic election” and said the U.S. looked forward to working with the new government.

But while Funes, who did not himself fight in the war, presents a moderate face, other leaders in the party, including his vice-presidential running mate and former guerilla Salvador Sanchez Ceren, are viewed with deep suspicion by critics who believe the FMLN remains communist at heart.

Funes’ victory is the latest in a string of electoral successes by left-wingers in Latin America over the past decade, on the back of campaigns hostile to Western free-market policies.

They range from Chavez and his allies in the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA) group including Bolivia, Honduras, Nicaragua and Dominica; to more moderate leftist governments in Brazil, Chile and Argentina, with others like Ecuador and Paraguay somewhere in between.

President Obama is due to meet with these leaders and others when he visits Trinidad and Tobago in a month’s time for a Summit of the Americas, a gathering that brings together heads of government from 34 countries in the hemisphere. ALBA member Cuba alone is not on the invitation list.

The summit, the fifth of its kind, is expected to be dominated by the global financial crisis, along with Obama’s proposed “energy partnership for the Americas,” aimed at helping nations in the region become more energy independent and promoting growth.

‘Red and pink tide’

As left-wing candidates have won over the years, Chavez has sought to draw them into alliances, with varying degrees of success.

The Venezuelan leader, who has been supporting FMLN mayors in El Salvador for several years by providing heavily-discounted oil supplies, was quick to congratulate Funes.

“This victory strengthens the historic wave that, in this first decade of the 21st century, has arisen in all of Latin America and the Caribbean, and opens its doors to other sibling peoples in the challenges they will face,” he said in a statement carried by the official ABN news agency.

Chavez told Funes to remember “that the unity of our peoples is the only path to overcome the crisis unleashed from the heart of capitalism in the North.”

More than 70,000 people died in El Salvador’s brutal civil war, a Cold War-era conflict that saw the Soviet Union and Cuba backing the FMLN while the Reagan administration supported the military government. The country remains politically polarized, and violent crime is rife.

Latin American left-wing causes have long generated passionate support among leftists elsewhere, and communist and socialist media and organizations hailed the FMLN victory.

Interviewed on the left-wing radio show Democracy Now!, New York writer Roberto Lovato, “a child of Salvadoran immigrants,” called the FMLN victory “the defeat of Ronald Reagan, nothing less.”

“This is a continuation of the red and pink tide that’s taken hold in the hemisphere,” he said. “The big difference is that it brings us even closer to the north. It brings us even closer to the border wall.”

A joint report by the Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador, the North American Congress on Latin America and Upside Down World, said Funes’ victory “constitutes a dramatic shift for El Salvador – and the region.”

The report noted comments by the candidate eschewing socialism, but said he may simply have been “pandering to moderate swing-votes, or deflecting the possibility of hostility from Washington.”

Hugo Chavez won't be able to help El Salvador too much economically he's already spreading Venezuela's resources too thin by all of the economic help being sent to Cuba, Bolivia, and Nicaragua. With the drop in oil prices and the institution of disastrous socialist policies Chavez' money tank is fast approaching empty. The people of El Salvador will learn as others have that socialism the cancer of liberty just doesn't work....only through aggressive National Capitalism that reaches down to the common man will the people prosper.
Patricio Bridgeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11974231412132659060noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3547041602238760786.post-25499562096154555392009-01-15T03:29:00.000-08:002009-01-15T04:03:01.632-08:00The Road To DictatorshipCaracas – Venezuelan lawmakers on Wednesday approved a proposed constitutional amendment that would allow President Hugo Chavez to run for re-election indefinitely, the final step before the proposal goes before voters in a referendum.

Allies of Chavez, who hold a strong majority within the 167-seat National Assembly, overwhelmingly voted in favor of lifting term limits for all elected officials. Six lawmakers opposed the measure, while five abstained.

Election officials have yet to set a date for the referendum, but Chavez says it could be held as early as Feb. 15.
Chavez, who was first elected in 1998, is barred under the constitution from seeking re-election in 2012.

The Venezuelan people already voted on this issue back in 2007 and they voted NO to amend the constitution, now he wants another referendum, why? He must feel that he may have enough votes to edge out the opposition or he found a way to fix the vote without getting caught. A great admirer of Fidel Castro whose socialist revolution has wrecked the island of Cuba he is fast on his way to accomplish the same thing for Venezuela. Like Fidel, Hugo Chavez also has a thick skull and does not yet realize that socialism does not work especially in a poor country like his. People just don't produce well under oppression and without liberty. National Capitalism is the best answer this Latin-American nation, this hemisphere does not need another communist dictator and Venezuela does not need Chavez.
Patricio Bridgeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11974231412132659060noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3547041602238760786.post-87518000315296824562008-11-10T18:48:00.000-08:002008-11-10T19:03:20.985-08:00Hindu Fanatics Attack Christians in IndiaNew Delhi, - A Christian orphanage has been destroyed and a parish church attacked in India's Orissa state, in the latest assault on the Christian minority there, the AsiaNews service reports.
A Jesuit residence and church, and a nearby orphanage under Protestant administrators, were looted and destroyed by Hindu zealots in the town of Tumudiband. Christians in the same district has been troubled by attacks in the past. “The fanatical forces of Hindutva want to eliminate Christians from Orissa, especially those in Kandhamal district,” said Archbishop Raphael Cheenath of Cuttack-Bhubaneshwar.
Witnesses say that the attackers were easily identified, but police have made no arrests. "There is collusion between the government and the fanatical groups," the archbishop charged.

This reminds me of when German police looked the other way and allowed Nazi Stormtroopers to attack Jews and their businesses or German fireman standing by and allowing a synagogue to burn to the ground after being torched by Nazis. Maybe India is not as democratic a place as they would like the world to think. It's the duty of all good Christians to voice their opposition this outrage and all other violations against our Christian brothers and sisters in India. Christians in India are citizens there and they deserve the full protection under the Indian Constitution as other Indians are.Patricio Bridgeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11974231412132659060noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3547041602238760786.post-62188702862788724262008-01-23T11:58:00.000-08:002008-01-23T12:14:23.902-08:00Malaysia Confiscates Christian BooksMalaysian authorities confiscated Christian children's books, claiming the illustrations of prophets such as Moses and Abraham violate Islamic Sharia law.
The independent news agency Malaysakini reported the Internal Security Ministry confiscated the literature from bookstores in two cities and one small town in mid-December. The Malaysian Embassy declined to comment on the news service's Jan. 11 report. The Rev. Hermen Shastri, general secretary of the Malaysian Council of Churches, confirmed the report and accused the government of persecuting Christians.

"The officials have offended the sensitivities of Christians because their publications and depictions of their Biblical personalities have now become targets of unscrupulous Moslem officials bent on curtailing religious freedom in the country," Mr. Shastri said. "Immediate steps should be taken to amend administrative rules and regulations, especially in the Internal Security Ministry, that give a free hand to enforcement officials to act on their whim and fancies," he said. Christians, Hindus and other religious groups in Malaysia say they are increasingly being targeted as the nation gradually cedes jurisdiction to Sharia courts.
The U.S. State Department estimates that about 60 percent of Malaysians are Moslem, with the remainder being Christians, Buddhists, Hindus or belonging to other sects. The books confiscated from Johor Bahru, Senawang and Ipoh offended the sensibilities of Moslems, officials say, because Islam forbids the depiction of prophets.

Islam forbids images of the prophet Muhammad, but other images such as portraits of early Moslem leaders Ali and Hussein, the prophet's son-in-law and grandson, respectively, are common in Shi'ite Islam. The books were confiscated by officials from the Publications and Koran Texts Control Department, a division of the Internal Security Ministry headed by Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi.

The prime minister is an Islamic scholar who promotes the concept of "Islam Hadhari" or "Islamic Civilization." Bernama, the Malaysian National News Agency, reported last week that Mr. Badawi stated the West should acknowledge there are civilizations today that continue to uphold religious values in the public sphere, even if many Western governments and societies do not. In remarks to a forum in Madrid called the Alliance of Civilization, he also said Islam is a religion that respects religious and cultural diversity.

The Malaysian government last month also banned the use of the name "Allah" in any religion other than Islam, local press reports said. Allah, the Arabic word for "God," is used by both Christians and Moslems throughout the Arab world. Christian and Sikh religious literature in Malaysia often uses Allah to refer to God.

Church leaders have filed complaints in civil courts arguing that the Allah rule infringes on religious freedom. A string of prominent religious conversion cases recently has been criticized for granting special privileges to Moslems in the multiethnic and ostensibly secular nation.
Article 3 of the Federal Constitution states the official religion of Malaysia is Islam, but Article 11 protects the right to religious freedom.

The Kuala Lumpur High Court ruled Friday that the wife of a Christian Malaysian who died Dec. 30 could be buried by her husband. The ruling overturned a decision by the Federal Islamic Territorial Council, which claimed the woman converted to Islam six days before she died.
The High Court hearing marked a departure from civil court precedents in which Islamic matters are typically ceded to Sharia courts. Angela Wu, the International Law Director of the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, called the procedure a "horrible Catch-22."

"The civil courts are saying they aren't competent to decide whether someone is a Moslem where Islamic interests are invoked," Ms. Wu said. "Only the Sharia courts can decide whether you are a Moslem and the Sharia courts will not hear the testimony of non-Moslems."

Oh my Allah! I don't believe it! Religious oppression and persecution in a Moslem country, how can this be? The Moslems, Liberals, and Leftists are always telling us about religious tolerance in Islamic societies and that we have nothing whatsoever to worry about if the Moslems take control of a Western country I mean after all they are a peaceful and just religion. right? We've always heard that Malaysia and Turkey are shining examples of secular democratic and Moslem states. Now maybe I missed something along the way so I have a question...how can a secular state have an official religion?

The Moslems have been telling us forever that they worship the same God that we do and he is called "Allah" so why then are non-Moslems not allowed say that? I have never believed that concept and I don't think that Christians or Jews should ever refer to God as Allah only Moslems should. The Allah of Islam is evil, deceptive, cruel and unjust, he is the antithesis of our God Yahweh. So now maybe the Moslems are finally admitting that we worship two different deities.

Another thing I am curious about...if illustrations of prophets violate Islamic Sharia law and they consider Jesus a prophet I wonder how much longer it will be before pictures of Jesus and crucifixes are banned. It sounds like a trend to me folks. Another trend that we are seeing is the gradual radicalization of supposed moderate Moslem countries. I actually heard a Ron Paul neo-Lib on the radio say that the Moslems are too divided to be a threat to us and we shouldn't worry. How someone in their right mind could believe that is beyond me in light of current events and what happened on 9/11.

Sure Moslems are killing each other and fighting amongst themselves, haven't they always? Does that negate the fact that Islam is inexorably taking over the world? No it doesn't and when it comes to fighting the infidel they are very much united. When the twin towers in NY fell the Shi'ite and Sunni celebrated together. When the Dutch published the cartoons considered to be insults to Islam we saw every Moslem faction together rioting and protesting throughout the world their infighting was gone.

I don't think it will matter to the free people in Europe which faction of Islam takes over because anyone who is not a Moslem will suffer and the fact that Moslems are fighting amongst themselves won't mean spit to them because they'll be living under Sharia law. Will there be a difference if that Sharia law comes from Sunnis or Shi'ites? Look around you folks, what is happening in the moderate Moslem countries could happen in Europe if it's not stopped and I mean stopped very soon. Remember this...if Europe falls to the Moslems that means that all of the nuclear weapons there will be in their control and if that isn't a nightmare then I don't know what is! Patricio Bridgeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11974231412132659060noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3547041602238760786.post-25722258325406300022007-03-02T12:07:00.000-08:002008-01-23T12:13:42.304-08:00The Wise Geert WildersDUTCH anti-immigration politician Geert Wilders was quoted as urging Moslems to dump half the Koran and saying he would chase the Prophet Mohammed out of the country if he was alive today." Islam is a violent religion.

If Mohammed lived here today I could imagine chasing him out of the country tarred and feathered as an extremist," Mr Wilders told De Pers daily in an interview.Mr Wilders, who is seen as an heir to murdered populist Pim Fortuyn and whose new party won nine seats out of the 150 in Parliament in November elections, has warned of a "tsunami of Islamisation" in a country home to one million Moslems.

"I know that we're not going to have a Moslem majority in the next couple of decades, but it is growing," he said."You no longer feel that you're living in your own country. There is a battle under way and we must defend ourselves. There will soon be more mosques than churches here." Mr Wilders, who has lived under heavy guard since 2004 when a Dutch-Moroccan killed filmmaker and Islam critic Theo van Gogh, has campaigned to ban the Moslem burqa veil, wants to freeze immigration and ban new mosques and religious schools.

"If Moslems want to stay here they must tear out half of the Koran and throw it away. They shouldn't listen to the imam. I've read the Koran ... and I know that there are enough awful things in it," he said.

Maverick politician Pim Fortuyn broke taboos with his criticism of Moslem immigrants in the Netherlands and his pronouncements that the country could not absorb anymore foreigners. He was gunned down in 2002 by animal rights activists and Moslem sympathizer just days before an election which saw huge popular support for his party.

Nasr Joemann, secretary for the Contact Organisation for Moslems and Government, said he planned to raise the demonisation of Islam with the new Dutch cabinet, expected to be finalised in the next week after months of coalition talks."

I don't think this sort of comment from a member of parliament is good for integration or for relations between Moslems and non-Moslems but we don't want to react to the content because we cannot take it seriously," he said.

If you don't react to the content or take it seriously then maybe the Dutch people will and they will start putting people in Parliament who really care about their country. The Moslems pose a real and dangerous threat to the Netherlands and her native citizens. And if the Dutch people value their freedom and way of life they'll have to stand up and fight against Islam. Cowering in fear and tepidness will eventually have them living under Sharîa law.Patricio Bridgeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11974231412132659060noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3547041602238760786.post-84888573957931321682007-02-19T13:38:00.000-08:002008-01-23T12:10:56.329-08:00Al Qaeda to Target Canadian OilLeader-PostAl-Qaeda has called for terrorist strikes against Canadian oil and natural gas facilities to "choke the US economy." An online message, posted Tuesday by the Al-Qaeda Organization in the Arabian Peninsula, declares "we should strike petroleum interests in all areas which supply the United States...like Canada," the No. 1 exporter of oil and gas to the US. "The biggest party hurt will be the industrial nations, and on top (of) them, the United States." The same group, the Saudi arm of Osama bin Laden's terrorist network, claimed responsibility for last February's attack on the world's largest oil processing facility at Abqaiq in Saudi Arabia's eastern province. The attack was foiled when guards at the site opened fire on the terrorists, blowing up their vehicles filled with explosives before they could get through the gates. The message is contained in Sawt al-Jihad (Voice of Jihad), the group's online magazine. A feature article, entitled "Bin Laden's Oil Weapon," encourages operatives to continue to follow earlier directives from bin Laden to strike oil targets not only in Saudi Arabia, but elsewhere, according to a translation by the SITE Institute, a non-profit US group that monitors terrorist Web sites. Three western countries are mentioned in the call-to-arms. Canada is listed first, followed by Mexico and Venezuela. Would-be attackers are instructed to specifically target oilfields, pipelines, loading platforms, and carriers.

If Western nations think they can escape attacks from radical Moslems by remaining neutral they are sadly mistaken. They may as well join the fight against Islam, by doing so they lose nothing and gain everything.Patricio Bridgeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11974231412132659060noreply@blogger.com1
